IM SAVING UP 4 A Patriarch Bait cast Reel BY FLUEGER 200.00 WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THIS REEL

I would run a search on that reel in this forum category.  I know that there was a thread I have recently read that has some information commenting on the Patriarch.  I don't own that reel, but I do have a Supreme BC, and I love that reel.

             Have you concidered a Johnny Morris Signature Series reel instead?  As far as I can tell they are almost identical.  They are manufactured by the same company.  The only difference is the spool.  The Patriarch has a v cut into the center of the spool while the Johnny Morris reel is flat.  Retail is $199 (Floooger) vs $179 (JM) but with the classic sale the Johnny Morris is $129.  

IIRC the Johnny Morris has a higher rated drag.
