I just ordered the Revo SX with a BPS 7' MH rod. Im going to put 30 lb. braid on it and use it as a frog rod and use it for flipping and pitching. What else would this rod be good for? Any other lures or techniques? Thanks

I used a 7' Extreme MH all of last year for jigs.  

Ditto with the jigs.  Carolina rigs maybe and heavy worms

I'd get 50-65lb if you are gonna be froggin.

Not only should you use 50-65lb braid for frogs, you should also get the 7'3 or 7'6 model, will move a lot more line on the hookset.

also a good idea, get the high speed revo, 7:1, better for frogs and i prefer it for jigs as well.
