anyone have experience with Invisx on a spinning reel?

Just trying to figure out if I'm going to stay with 8lb, or up it to 10lb.

Hello bass gents I'm also curious about 8 lbs - 10 lbs Seauguar Invisix or gamma egde on a symetre 2500 spinning reel. What do you bass heads think.

8lb is fine.

I have had problems w/ 10lb fluro on spinning reels no matter wat the brand. I put 8lb as a max for fluoro on my reels.

forgot to mention, if u do insist on using 10lb fluoro on spinning reel, get a 4000 size reel.  the larger reel has a wider/larger spool which helps keep the line from jumping off all the time.

I was actually going to try 10 lbs flouro on my okuma inspira IS-30 & epixor EF-30 reels which are a lot bigger than the 2500's shimano's.

i would never use a spool smaller than a 4000 with flouro.that is where everyone gets into trouble.the smaller spools cause more line issues.i have used 10 lb invizx on a 4000 spinning reel with no troubles.

I use 8lb fluoro without any troubles on a 2500 Stradic. No troubles what so ever, aside from it breaking!

i fished 10lb invisx on a daiwa exceler 2000 all of last summer without any problems . used mostly tube jigs with 1/8 to 1/4 oz. or weightless worms. 8-)
