  1. Im sold on the Gamma copoly line it's been excellent on most of my reels 12lbs & 8lbs over the past 5 years. i also used the YZH brid over the years but lean more to the gamma line.
  2. I have that same set up a 7' Med fast for most of my Cranking & a 7'6" Fast Crank rod for Lipless & deeper diving baits. I wouls suggest a 6'6' MH fast rod with a very soft tip for Top water, jerk baits & spinners.
  3. 8 lbs gamma spinning & 12 lbs for casting green I also love the yo Zuri hybrid 6 lbs & 12 lbs line.
  4. I used the Avid 7' MF for Lipless and it is incredible with 1/2 oz & 3/4 oz Lipless xcalibur cranks
  5. I use Hi Vis Yellow 15 lbs Tuf line XP on all my spinning gear and I have caught a lot of 4-5 lbs bass with straight yellow braid with sharpie on about 12 feet of line. With the Tuf line XP I can feel the bullet weight slide up and down my line. This feeling is new to me after using sufix braid for the past 5 years
  6. I have used my 7'MF Avid crank rod with a revo premier (12lbs gamma line) for Lipless cranks for the past few years and I haven't lost any fish with the fast action. I have not tried a MM action rod yet
  7. Shimano Convergence 6'6" med Fast
  8. Gamma Co-poly rules 8 lbs,12 lbs & 14 lbs green
  9. I have use a Avid Med 7' fast rod as my Lipless rod for the past 3 years but I just recently bought a Kistler KLX 7'6" Med Heavy crank rip twitch rod as my new Lipless crankin rod cant wait for April.
  10. What's your thoughts on the Daiwa Tatula. I'm thinking about getting one to thow light topwater baits?
  11. Which cast 3/8 oz lures further?
  12. I have that rod and I use it for flipping, Frogs & will try it out on swim baits this season.
  13. I bought that same Falcon rod during Black Friday sale. I have put the Pflueger 8030 supreme it's a sweet combo.
  14. St Croix Avid 7' Med AVC Revo Premier 12 lbs gamma Cranks & Plastic. Kistler Helium LTX MH & Stradic 3000 20 lbs Sufix braid spinning. Plastic
  15. Dobyns Savvy scared me straight I will stick with ST Croix
  16. I would not recommend a savvy due to I just bought the rod to drop shot and just to have something light around encase someone forced me to crappie fish. The purchase was purely a luxury to play around with. That said I'm out of $210 dollars for a new rod that sucks. $60 charge replacement charge is extreme
  17. I'm with you 100% my Savvy 692 spinning rod broke in two places while the 1lbs bass was on the bank. My rod was used maybe 6 times.
  18. I have a blue light special on a BRAND NEW DOBYNS SAVVY 6'9" ML in the flea market
  19. Okay the the tip is fast. Is the rod really stiff? like a fast worm rod?
  20. I understand the action for plastic & cranking. I'm just curious about the true action of the rod. I like throwing cranks in tight spots with medium action fast rods. I'm would like to find a rod with fast action a soft tip and medium heavy action.
  21. Hello does anyone have any experience with the Clark falcon rod? I would like to know how does the MH feel and if it has a soft enough tip to throw some cranks in a pinch.
