Are you looking for a rod, reel or combination?

At your pricing point, the BPS rods might fit, but buy them when they are on sale.

You may have to spend just a little more money for a baitcasting reel, but there are several to choose from. Some of our guys have found the Shimano Citica for around $70.

Unless you find a "deal" in our Flea Market, $55 for a combination isn't going to work.

 Quantum Energy PTs "BURNER"

Today at 11:01:29*     I have a quantum Energy PTs "Burner" reel (7.1:1 gear ration). It looks brand new, very little scratches and I've only used it about 7 or 8 times. It is technically a saltwater reel but I have the freshwater version and it is the EXACT same reel. Same sideplates, same spool, same frame...the only difference is the colors and it has a saltgard layer over the whole reel. It seems to be a little more durable than the freshwater version too. This reel retails for 219.99$ and I am selling it for 65$!!! I would also be willing to trade for something. I just really do not have a need for it I have TOO many reels now and I really need the money to get a new heavy cover rod. I GUARANTEE anyone who buys this will be beyond please. It casts AMAZING, it is super smooth, and it really is an all-around awesome reel.

you can get NEW 6' med action extremes on Ebay for $29.00

Cheap baitcaster reel? Look at the Quantum 'Burst' they are around 60 I think.

I would consider saving a little more money. Once you hit 100 you can get some really nice these days.
