Shimano Chronarch or Daiwa Zillion?

I am currently deciding between a Shimano Chronarch 101B and a Daiwa Zillion and would like any input on either reel and pros and cons. Thanks

    sorry i cant help...mine (7.1:1) is on its way.

    ive always fished shimano and decided to try the daiwa gear. so far from what ive gathered the zillion is a nice reel and worth the money.

    Both reels should excel at this.  It comes down to personal preference.  Check both out at your local tackle shop.  But......since you have a custom built rod, the Zillion has a lot more bling than the Chronarch.  I love mine, very solid.  The Chronarch is pretty boring, sleek but boring.  Either way you can't go wrong.
