They've opened a Dick's pretty close and I called them today. They are carrying Cavitron . I'll be going tomorrow to pick up one of the black buzz baits 8-)...

BTW Had a cold front blow thru last night with lots of rain and colder temps which will probably kill the buzz bait bite until next Spring :'(

I haven't had any luck with the lure since the first rain two weekends ago, but when it's hot, it's HOT!

they are nice,  have yet to catch anything though,   next summer for sure

I lost my chartruse in the James River when I was too lazy to retie after catching a smallmouth.

I know where it is and plan to go and get it.  

Cavitron's are very good and can be fished fast or slow.

I tryed it and never had much luck with it. Its very very quiet and kicks up a small amount of water compared to other buzzbaits.  Atleast for me it seemed.. Also it was very slow in the water which is good in my book, but I didn't like the quietness/little water dispersion. Although now thinking about it, Ive only tryed the smaller version, I forget the size.. but the smallest they got. So I really couldn't tell you how the larger sizes work/act.

Finally got the right day to catch em today.storm and cold front blowin in in florida.Had a few on a spook,but the cavitron definitely rocked their world caught 20+on it today with one 5.5 and 2 in the 4s.Im a believer for sure.

Still need to get the black on black.The one I used today was black with red blade 1/4 oz. The dicks near me only has the red blade ones.Truly strange.Wish their was a way I could influence what these stores carry sometimes.Just like my dicks only carries ribbon tail yum and powerbait in 10 inch?? I don't understand.they could prob sell more stock if they actually bought things that people actually use.But thats a different story.
