I have thought about getting one myself. Tackletour had some pretty good things to say about them.

    Do you guys have any other suggestions of travel spinning rods under $100?

    I used to have the casting rod and I have 2 spinning that are the travel models, they're great if you're short on space or hiking a ways out to your fishing spot.  Great rods for the price, they go on sale all the time so don't feel like you have to jump on it right now to get that price.
