Ok, I took my SX apart tonight and I've followed the diagram putting it back together however everything seems to work but one thing and that is the handle turns but doesn't turn the spool around with it.I've spent 2 hours taking it apart and retrying to put it back together and each time the spool doesn't turn with the handle.  Can anyone help?

Is the drag backed off all the way?  And did you lube the drag stack?   Sometimes this can cause the handle to rotate and the spool to not go around.  Otherwise, it sounds like you reassembled it incorrectly.

Like I always state even with the reels schematic...

"If you have never then don't take it apart"

Sounds like you stacked the pinion yoke upside down, and it isn't allowing the pinion gear to engage the engagement pin on the spool shaft.

Really doesn't matter now since you took it back, bet you didn't tell them your in training to be a service tech and took it apart, so the next guy doesn't get your mistakes.

For probably the same reason you cracked open your first reel...  I'd like to know how they work.

I've got 3 STXs and a Premier and I'd like to service them myself come this off season.  However, after that experience I may have to send you my Revo fleet this winter.
