I was looking at the Shimano Scorpion 1000. I was considering purchasing a Curado but then I saw then I saw the scorpion and it has caused me to reconsider. Anyone own or ever use a Scorpion? Which would you go with?

I have it, I would go for the Curado 100D.

Back a few years ago when both compared the old Curado 100B was a lesser reel, nowdays the Curado 100 is a better purchase, the only things you don 't gain are the external adjustable braking and the cold forged handle which by the way is only 70 mm in length ( vs 80 mm ).
