I managed to break the anti reverse on 2 of these now... in like 2 months fishing... absolutely ridiculous

    I have a Johnny Morris Elite baitcast reel from BPS.  I believe there is some significant relationship between that reel and Pinnacle.  My Johnny Morris is outstanding.  It seems to be very well made and casts like a dream.    The more I use it the more I like it.

    Well the wal-mart in my town has a few other pinnacle reels, and some of them have broken anti-reverses and they are still in the box!

    I definately will be staying away from pinnacle reels... thats for sure

    I have an old Pinnacle Scion reel with a magnesium frame and I LOVE it.  Maybe their more expensive reels are still good.
