I am looking at purchasing a Legend Elite 6'8" MXF. Is this rod a softplastic rod? Or can I use it as a topwater rod as well? I noticed that the LTB series makes a topwater rod that is 6'8"MXF so I was wondering what application I could use the Legend eltie for. Thanks.

    Soft plastics is my suggestion, but we have some notable fishermen

    on the Forum that like the XF Action for topwater and jerkbaits, too.

    For me, all treble hooks are fished on Moderate Action (AC70MM) or

    Fast Action with a soft tip (Avid AC66MF). My main soft plastics rod is

    the ES70MF. I also own the EC70MHF which I use for heavy spinnerbaits

    and Mattlures Baby Bass, but it is well suited for soft plastics and jigs, too.
