I have had a Shimano Calais for about a 18 months and just a few weeks ago I finally received my clean and lube coupons. It is a long story on why it took so long, from which I will spare you, but it does have a happy ending.

I sent this reel out three weeks ago and finally got it back today. It may have taken a while but it was worth it. This reel feels way better than it did out of the box and it was supper smooth to begin with. Words can't describe how well it casts and just how supper smooth it is on the retrieve. They replaced 3 bearings, which on the invoice they had different part numbers than on the schematics, and they also replaced the drag washer. Awesome service....

I justed wanted share how happy I was with the reel and to give a big thank you to the guys at Shimano (Irvine, CA).
