Is there any sites that have info on what rod set ups the pro's use.

Here's what I'm looking for!!!

How many rods does a pro have in his boat?

What type of reel, rod and line for each set up and what he uses it for.

"Example" What does he use for cranking?

Pros use all kinds of different stuff. Most use either their own line of stuff, if they have one, or whoever sponsors them. If you flip through Bassmaster each month under the tour recaps there are tons of different setups. I dont know of any website.

I think it would be best if you started out a little slower but thats just my opinion. I would suggest reading some of the articles on the site to get started .

In most Bassmasters they show top 3 qualifiers on the circuit  for at least 1 tourny and show what rigs they use for what baits.

However, most PROS you see are going to be biased because they are sponsored.

Interesting question.

Pros have many setups.  Like 15 to 20 setups for each tournament and prefishing.

The pros also have reels, rods and baits that we do not have available.

Of course, they use the name brands but some of the equipment is modified for each professional bass fisherman.

What I have learned is that less is more.  You may consider what Ike says you really need to take with you when fishing.

Just remember, it is OK to stop, retie your knots or set up another bait.

You can actually drive yourself crazy deciding what to bring and what setups to use.

We all use topwaters in the early AM and late PM. After that, anything goes, including topwaters.  

So join the club and take 200 pounds of plastics, ten rods and reel setups, all of your hard baits, and sink the boat.  ;D

Of course, doing some research on the body of wate and time of year will help you cut down on your setups.

This is way bass fishing is a science.

P.S.  I like graphite rods for crankbaits and Carolina rigs for better transmission of the bottom and structure via the rod and line.

I think I know where Huntforever is coming from. I have probably 20 bass set-ups, which I have fine tuned to my personal preference, but I also have interest as to what the Pro's use. My interest is not for guidance, since personal experience and preference has led me to what I own, but out of curiosity.
