Featured Replies

My wife I think is trying to get rid of me she just bought me a new spinning reel and we started a conversation about the most popular types of Bass rods and reels I mentioned Baitcasting well she wants to get me a combo. and suggestions?

Be patient and pick-off a deal in our Flea Market. It appears this combo has traded, but this is a GREAT example of something you might stumble upon:

If you want to buy something new, get a Shimano Citica reel and a Compre rod.  Should be right at $200.

My wife and I headed to BPS in Denham Springs, La and Cabela's in Gonzales, La. Saturday. I'm waiting till then just in case I find a deal. ;D

I would look at BPS website and if you find deals print them out. When I was at BPS I found the online prices to be better, but they wanted proof to honor the prices.

I just ordered a Shimano Cruxis and Compre Combo from my local tackle shop for $240 (Canadian dollars). I think this would be a nice combo too.

I have looked at the Cabela's web site and looks like I might try the ABU Garcia Pro Max or the Quantum Accurist PT with a Cabela's Fish eagle II rod. Maybe I wil have some $ left over for some Baits. ;D
