Does anyone know if Shimano is planning on releasing any new Calcuttas in the near future?

I am seriously considering buying a 400 for swimbaits (among other things) and was wondering if I should expect new Calcuttas out soon or the current models to be discounted.

Never will be discontinued. The Calcutta line up available today is the best of the best for round reels.

How do you improve on a Digital cast control? The only thing I can think of would be someone to cast the reel for you just so you don't have to get up early to go..  LOL

I know the Calcuttas are great - I have a 100B now.  Just wondered if I my get lucky and find them discounted in the future.

There are always Calcutta on the flea market side of the forum, and probably on the internets largest garage sale..
