Line color for swimbaits

Featured Replies

Is line color/visibility an issue when fishing swimbaits?  I was going to use Trilene Big Game on my swimbait rig and I already have some but it is the bright green color, will that matter?

Do not overthink it, line color and it 's visibilty matters not in 99% of the times and places, it matters more to you ( being able to watch the line ) than it matters to the fish.

I throw the mission fish with straight braid.  Started doing it because I was fishing in cover but then I started getting bites on it further and further away from the cover.  Now I fish it in open water at lakes that have 20+ ft of visibility and I still get fish on it.  That being said, I don't think that line color is that big of a deal.
