I recently purchased a used reel that is spooled with Suffix braided line.  If this line is still in relatively good shape would I be able to take the line off the reel and spool it on another reel?  Or, would it not be worth the trouble?

We do that all the time.  It gives you use of both ends of the line before you toss it.

There is no reason you shouldn't be able to do that.

yeah just spool the 2nd reel from the first. Very easy to do. I actually do this without putting it on another reel. I tie the line to the back fence and start walking to the front yard when line runs out I cut the line go back to the back yard and start putting line on in the opposite direction. No need to waste line. Especially expensive stuff like braid.
