is it true that you are not supposed to oil and lube any bc reels from plueger.. i own the presedential and i lubed it inside the tension nob and got it in the gears and after i did that i heard you werent supposed to do that...do you think it will mess up the reel :-/

Follow the lubrication chart in the reels handbook.

Just remember that only one drop of oil (on bearings) and no grease on anything other than the main pinion and drive gears.
