OK figured this was about fishing line so I posted it here.  If not the right area please move it.

My wife wanted to tie down some steaks in the garden for the veggies.  So I tell her that I have a ton of fishing line in the garage that she could use.  I come out to the yard and I see my Rio fly-line cut out into about 20 3-inch strips on the garden floor lol  Hey its only 6$ a foot lol

My fault for not being specific enough.

I use mono to hold up fence around favorite tree to keep deer away.

Also use mono to hold up Halloweed and Christmas stuff on walls and windows.

Mono is cheap.  Fly line is not cheap.

I guess she owes you in return if you play your cards right.  

The biggest thing my wife understands about fishing line is it's pretty tough on her vacuum >.  That Hoover was pretty tough but it was no match for 17lb mono. After it quit smokin' and I cut the line out I got a pretty stern lecture about picking ALL of the old line up after I re-spool.
