I believe this line has been discontinued? Has anybody used it? What are the pros and cons?

I love it but because it was discontinued I moved on because of shelf life for mono. I knew even if I bought a ton online I would eventually need to move on. It's a low stretch line and very tough and it's great for heavy cover and vegetation. I used this before I went to braid and was very happy with it.

I think if you keep mono in a cool dark place, it should last forever.

Spray it with KVD line and lure conditioner first its what i do

It won't last forever as you stated , maybe a few years at best.JMHO

The two things that breakdown mono, that I know of, is sunlight (UV) and heat.

I wish somebody from the line mfg. would give a definite answer on the question of shelf-life?
