Yo - Zuri Hybrid Lines

Featured Replies

Can some one tell me the difference between Yo-Zuri hybrid and Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft? Want to use on bait cast reel Mg 51. I use 10lb test mono now

Ultra soft is just as strong as regular hybrid, it is however a lot more limp making it better for spinning reels.  I use regular hybrid on all my reels, spinning and baitcasting, it isn't that stiff.  I also soak it with KVD line and lure conditioner which makes the line handle a lot better.

Ultra Soft has a higher percentage of nylon in the formula, but both

lines are a bonded fluorocarbon/ nylon copolymer. Original Hybrid

is slightly stronger (non-issue), blends better with water (virtually

invisible), is more readily available, but is stiffer and has more

memory than Ultra Soft. However, if you apply KVD Line & Lure

Conditioner to original formula Hybrid, I think you will find it suitable

for both spinning and baitcasting gear.

The primary advantage of Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft is manageability:

In use, this line has virtually no memory, comparable to braid.

Both lines are highly abrasion resistant, impervious to water and UV

light (which means they last forever), exceptionally strong at any

specific diameter, do not require a special knot and they float!

I have never been broken off by a fish using either iof these lines.

8-)

YEAH what he said.

;D

id also like to endorse yo zuri. i love it and it is by far my line of choice now....

all i have to do now is find some kvd spray.....

"You can substitute regular hybrid for baling wire, the ultra soft is more like leader wire. "

hahhaha... :)

i like it better than big game. hybrid does it all for me.

I think you're confused. The question is "Yo-Zuri Hybrid Lines",

he wasn't asking about P-Line.
