I just bought the code in the burner version. It is very smooth and the brake seems to work great for me. The fact that I, as a first time BC user, can pick up this reel and cast it w/o birdsnest is saying something.

there are two models , the ''code'' is black , and the other is called the ''code red'' , wich is , of course , red .

The Code Red has just now become available, at least at online stores.

The Code Red is not available yet, it should be in stores shortly; Every place I have looked on line, it is "Pre order" or not in stock.

Both are available in 6.x:1 and 7:1 "Burner" speeds. The Code Red has more bearings and is a little lighter.
