Is this new at TW?

Looks like they just copied the demo program from their partner site tennis warehouse lol.

"Enter your zip code for calculating the shipping charges. This charge includes freight in both directions - there is no additional freight charge to return the demos. The charge is based on weight and distance. You may include items other than demo racquets on your order; the portion of the freight charge to you will increase but the return portion will be unaffected."

I saw that earlier tonight and started to post a thread.

I cannot recall ever seeing that Demo link at the top of the page before earlier tonight.  And I'm probably on that site more than their webmaster.   :-[

It is an interesting concept and one that I may take advantage of at some point this summer.  That said, I foresee them getting some real junk shipped back to them.

I haven't seen it before.  They must have a couple of used Sol's that got returned and they are willing to loan them out.  I guess it's good if your in the market.

Nope, any of these daiwa reels are for demo. Not going to send you a steez... but not a bad selection.

I've fished most of the daiwa reels, hopefully they make some other brands available. In general sounds like a great idea to me, and would give it a go if they added more reels.

Don't use the demo service!  It's how we hook each other up in the flea market.  If we didn't make any buying mistakes, our BR brethren wouldn't get to capitalize on all the good deals of like new reels!   ;D
