So, I'm at Dick's yesterday (looking at stuff I can't afford) as they are unpacking loads of stuff. Started looking at some rods made by Castaway rods. Didn't look bad. Checked their website, apparently made in the US. Anyone ever hear of these or fished them?

    Awesome rods. I've  had a couple of the 6'6" M actions for 5 years now, haven't broken one yet.

    Lots of folks in Texas use them....kind of a 'workin' man' rod.

    Terry Scroggins uses em   ;)

    They have a model made in China called a SPORT. I have been using their standard graphite and HG40 rods for years. I love them. All others are made in Texas. There are a few pros along with Scroggins that use them.
