New rods for Skeet...

Recommended Posts

Skeet was coy about what rods he used at the Guntersville tournament. He came out Monday and said that his contract with Lamiglas had ended and that he was working with a new company. Yesterday it was announced that Skeet Reese is working with Wright & McGill on creating a new lineup consisting of 9 technique specific rods. He says they'll will be aggressively designed and be made of the best materials available and expected to retail at around $90. W&M are the owners of Eagle Claw and also are a Fly Rod and Reel manufacture.

No offense to Skeet (I like him) but $90 will pretty much cover a set of Fuji Ti SiC's and a few cork rings. ;D

I expect he meant to say the best materials available in a $90 rod. Not may of those on the market. ::)

You know I am really surprised that he did not come out with a signature rod for Lucky Craft since they are in the rod making business.
