Recently, my Curado started squeaking when I reel it in.  I had it maintained ts when the squaking started.  I have cleaned it a couple more times, oiled, etc.  I think it might some kind of dam on the edge of the spool.  Any ideas before I start ordering new parts for it?

put a small mark or piece of tape on the spool so you can watch & see if the squeek happens when the spool is always in the same position.

Does the reel function fine, or have you tried it?
