Abu Garcia Skeet Revo brake question??

Featured Replies

the skeet revo has the centrifugal 6 pin system..my question is...two off the pins do not stay locked up or down but theyre both directly acroos from each other...all the other pins stay in place where you put them..are they broke or are they suppose to be like that? ive never had a problem with it and it cast like a dream just opened it for the first time and noticed it

are they turned on? i know like shimano brakes when on are free to move around up and down and whatnot,if you push them off youll usualy hear the little click/snap,either that or try pulling them off and switching them with ones on another pin,see if they still do it then,if so id call abu.

The two across from each other are "on." They are free to slide up and down the shafts.

The other four are "off." Locked down.

To turn a brake "off," push it down towards the hub until it clicks. It may take a bit of fingernail force to do this. To turn a brake on, click it up from its locked position. Again, it may take a bit of fingernail force to do this.

Your reel isn't broken. It sound like it's just fine.
