I've been looking for a decent, inexpensive reel for panfishing.  A local dealer had a new Lew's Speed Spin LSS2R reel that had been in stock for about 10 years.  Never even been opened.  Let me have it for $26.  I know it's not the old Japanese made reel (this one I made in Korea).   But everything on it seems nicely finished.  It is very smooth.  Inside the spool is very nicely machined.  The body and rotor are aluminum, the bail arms are graphite.  Came in with the manual and spare graphite spool.  Even the box is still shiny new.   But was it worth $26?

good deal. looks kinda big for bluegills and stuff(maybe its just the picture)... more like a bass reel especially with rear drag. def a good deal tho.
