nvrmnd i got a back order email... anyone else order either of these yet?

reels of course... i dunno how cabelas got them so fast, but i ordered a stradic ci4 and a patriarch xt. should be here in a couple days im so excited.

If I were to get a new core, it would be an additional reel, not a replacement. Sorry. ...lol But if the above mentioned info is true, I won't be buying a new core... unless of course the Yumeya spool fits it... and then, if it's a 50, the spools probably won't interchange. yeah im jk. does that spool work well? how do you like your core?

if you get the new core, ill be more than happy to take your yumeya type 1 off your hands

i see it all the time at cabelas, but never tried it. next time im there ill grab a pack since its only 8 bucks and give a review.

the cabelas rod tubes are definitely cheaper than buying a new rod.

mojo is a good rod... clarus and compre are nice, or you can wait and get one of those garcia rods micro posted about a couple of days ago.

that's weird. I thought the US was made for spinning. I use the US for both and love it. yeah it says on the packaging that its ideal for spinning, but i like it on the casting gear.. i dunno.

so now i have to get the new patriarch, the new garcia rods and now a new lamiglas. yikes.

im a huge fan of the US on baitcasting, the regular hybrid i like better for spinning.

im thinkin over-spooled as well.

i like money minnows in the smaller size and pearl color... a steady retrieve works well. i use braid and only use a floro leader if absolutely necessary. i like to throw them in lilly pads and grass too. what has worked well for me it if i get a hit and miss, i let the minnow fall like stunned live bait and a lot of times the fish will go for it again. i use yum shad attractant as well.
