I was getting a LM out of the pads and the tip of my rod just snapped....i bought it less than a year ago. Should i go back to cabelas? or should i call Fenwick?

Since you have to send it somewhere, I'd send it to Fenwick. I've used Fenwicks warranty on an HMG that I broke and the experience was very good.

Edit:  I just assumed you had to send it to Cabelas.  If you are near Cabelas and can drive there, I'd take it back and see if they will exchange it.

If you have your receipt, I would think Cabelas would satisfy you.  BPS no, Cabelas yes.

Call me a skeptic but it sounds like there may be a couple more details. ;D

Doesn't sound like warranty to me, I'd just buy a new rod.

the fish got stuck in the pads so i was pulling pretty hard, but no thats what happened....i am shipping it to Fenwick today
