G Loomis GLX CR722C Casting Rod - Deal?

Featured Replies

I found a G Loomis GLX CR722C Casting Rod 6' M that I can buy for $199. I dont know much about these rods but I hear a lot of great comments. I prefer 6' rods so I thought I might pick it up at a good price.

I assume $199 a good deal since its $330 retail according to the G Loomis and Cabelas websites.

Anyone have any comments on this GLX model ?

I got it, $199 total for a NEW G Loomis GLX CR722C Casting Rod 6' M ($330 retail).  What a deal, I still cant believe it!

Now what do I put in the saddle of that bad boy, maybe a shimano core ?

Yea, the G Loomis was a great deal.  Also picked up another Steez last week for a little less than $200.  Makes me wonder if the rods are HOT, otherwise why would they just return it for a refund since its new.

Nope, too big, Chronarch Mg :)

Now you 'll find yourself fishing a rod that you will love, great soft plastic weightless/ shakey/ split shot/ small crank/ spinnerbait rod. I know it cuz I love mine. :)

With the Chronarch Mg the setup weights a lil bit over 10 ounces.  :)
