what ratio reels are u guys useing on the following set ups

worm rod

spinnerbait rod

crankbait rod

flipping rod

and any other set ups that u guys are using

spinnerbait rod - 25 IPT

crankbait rod - 20.6 IPT & 23.6 IPT

flipping rod - 28 IPT

jerkbait rod - 31 IPT

topwater rod - 28 IPT

swimbait rod - 25 IPT

carolina rod - 28 IPT

drop shot rod - 33 IPT

shakeyhead rod - 33 IPT

weightless worm rod - 31.6 IPT

frog rod - 26.4 IPT

pitching rod - 28 IPT

Rod moves the bait: faster reel.

Reel moves the bait: slower reel.

There are exceptions to the rule.

spinnerbait rod= 6:4:1

crankbait rod= 6:4:1

flipping rod= 7:1:1

I actually have several others that I didn't list (such as dock skipping rod, plastics in tight quarters rod, etc.) and there are the several muskie rods (though I only use two different gear ratios on all my muskie rods).  I know, I have an illness.

worm rod = 6.2:1 or up

spinnerbait rod = 5.0:1 or up

crankbait rod = 3.8:1 - 4.1:1 - 5.0:1

flipping rod = 6.2:1 or up
