Bass Pro Crankin' Stick??

Featured Replies

This is a fairly cheap rod and i have one that is a 7' MH/ fast rod paried with a rick clunn signiture series reel that has a 5.4:1 ratio.. guys out there that have the crankin stick do you find my set- up to be well enough equipped to handle dd22's, fat-free shads, etc..

thanks in advance. :)

That set-up will handle all your crankin needs perfectly! I have the Crankin' Stick MH/F paired with a BPS Limited Edition Tournament series reel. I even throw spinnerbaits on it and i love it!

A crankin stick is the best value that BPS has to offer IMO.  Should be well equipped for all your cranking needs.  I was using a 7'M for fat free shads and SK Series 5-6 before I got my Lucky Craft, and it handled them wondefully, the DD22 may give you a fit, atleast they were always tougher for me.
