Left handed, right handed, what the heck?

I don't know if they make smaller b/c with lever drags but my Avet mxj has one and I prefer it, it's also left handed.

This is one of the only times it's an advantage to be a lefty. I can buy "right-handed" reels, and keep the rod in my dominant hand.

I have left hand retrieves because i cant stand switching hands on casting dont know why it is comfortable for me and feeld like i have more control.

I don't understand why this bothers people either way. If you like a left hand retrieve, most manufacturers make a left hand version of their reels, no big deal. I know some people are bothered by switching hands after casting but you reposition your hand after a cast regardless of what hand you cast or retrieve with.

Ive heard people say this before and i don't know what you mean.  My baitcasters are lefty...My reels are "palmed" when i cast.  I have no repositioning of my right hand at all when i start reeling with my left hand.

I've got relatively small hands and I don't reposition either.

Legalese here:

Unless I'm undoing an over run  ;D ;D
