Anyone here know when Cabelas will release the Limited Edition 2008 Spring Catalog?  Also, do you know how you get on the list to receive one?  I received one last year for the first time for some reason but would like to continue receiving it if possible.  I have heard some say that if you receive it once, you will stay on the list for a few years.  Anyone know if this is true or not?   For those of you who may not have seen this catalog, it is the most awesome outdoors catalog I have ever seen from anywhere.  It is almost 1400 pages, hardback, and tabbed to different sections.   If you can get your hands on one, I guarantee you'll like it whether you ever purchase anything from Cabelas or not.

Regarding the mailing list. I think everything revolves around being a cardholder. In addition to EVERY piece they mail, I continue receiving the "Limited Addition" hardback catalog even though I ask them EVERY YEAR not to mail it to me! Once you are on the list, you may not be able to escape

Why do you ask them not to send it to you?  It's free.

It's useless thats why. Who cares about the cover I agree with RW, mine always winds uup in the same fire as all the catalogs. I love going through them, but i do all my purchasing off the Net Site, or in person at the store in Hamburg PA>  I would rather get a discount card, as a repeat customer than a fancy smancy cheap azz cover on thier catalog. Especially since over 70% of my fihing purchases are from Cabela's. I love thier customer services and thier trutful advertising, thats what keeps me coming back 8-)

I gave up on getting a Fishing catalog. I called three times and asked specificaly for a "FISHING CATALOG" and they sent me the Master hunting catalog, which has absolutely no fishing merchandise at all. I can see this happening once, maybe twice, but 3 times is just crazy. I'm so glad they are building a Bass Pro in Buffalo, NY.  

Hey Just go to their site and click on Catalogs and oder one, it takes a few weeks but you will get it that way

i get one every year, i have order products from the catalog thats why i think they have kept sending them to me. haven't gotten the hardcover one this year, one day i got 4 cabelas magazines but no hardcover master one. should be coming soon

You can get their Master Catalogs this way, but I don't think you can get the Limited Edition Hardcover 1400 page catalog like this.  If I'm wrong, let me know.

get the hardbound edition, too.

have the cabela's card, as well, and a furry, smelly mongrel with bananabreath makes me use it pretty regular.
