repairing an STX?

Featured Replies

The piece on my reel that the line comes out of on the STX is a metal circle inside a plastic piece. I think it's called the line guide?

Can i simply glue this back in with superglue.

Sorry if my description isn't that clear.

Thanks

I would replace the whole part because i am picky, LOL! But the super glue idea will work as well.

Actually it is only a temp fix.

You didn't pay that much for a reel were you have to super glue anything back onto the reel.

Super Glue isn't water proof and that shock ring will fall out again.

The only true fix is to replace the whole line carriage...

Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!
