If anyone has any info on modifiacations to baitcast reels, please post it. I am mainly looking for where to buy carbon fiber cranks, cork grips, sic bearings, carbontex drag washers, etc. I have a shimano calcutta te 100dc, looking to customize it a little and i dont know where to turn.

JAPANTACKLE HAS THE CRANK, BUT I CANT FIND THE CORK GRIPS, I READ SOMEWHERE THAT THE DAIWA CORK GRIPS WORK ON THE ZPI HANDLES. ANY TRUTH TO THIS?

The cork knobs have been discontinued and are pretty hard to find anymore.  They are made for Daiwa reels though from the IZE factory.  Sometimes you will see a set on ebay, but not very often.  And STOP YELLING ;D

what gets me about this stuff is, I'd like to pimp out my STX's handles or other componants but if you didnt buy a $300 reel your skewered!
