Falcon BuCoo.....Good Rod?

Featured Replies

I've heard this is almost a parabolic rod. I'm looking at the 7' Heavy for jigs and such, but I want a rod with a good strong backbone. Has anyone ised the 7' Heavy model? Is it really a flimsy rod?

A great rod, not the best for flipping and pitching heavy jigs or weights around cover.  Even though it's a H, it's not a flipping stick, a great rod for fishing T-rigs, casting lighter jigs, and spinnerbaits.

The Powell 705C is the best worm/jig rod i have ever owned! I pitch 1/2oz jigs into grass, pads rush etc with no issues! Amazing backbone and sensitivity!

Yeah, I think it's official. I'm gonna get the Powell!

I have both the 7' H and MH while they are not as stout as other rods. they fish well in there raiting and i fish jigs on my H and fear not... don't know if i would punch mats or fish frogs in the slop on it but it is a great football jig or anything not super dence like laydowns  or sparce weed cover or docks.. if your going to the jungle i would not bring the falcon bucoo. but i Love mine they are my favorite rods
