I'm curious also. I looked all over their web site and couldn't find find a clear answer. It seems they are designed here but where they are built is not mentioned. There is contact information on their site.

I called them today and they told me most of the rods are made in Texas the cheaper rods are made somewhere else. The lady on the phone did not say where that somewhere else was,so I now own a

7' Team Series rod.

Thanks for the help

BUY AMERICAN

I did see a short feature on the American Rodsmith rods over the weekend while watching the Getting School'd with JP DeRose on the World Fishing Network. The representative from the company stated they were releasing a new line of rods with golf club type grips. I'm surprised this technology hasn't been tried by others in the past. Maybe it has and just didn't work. The guy did say that AR is the only company that uses this type of grip and that cork was a thing of the past. I would like to see what one feels like. I'm sure there's a difference in weight and balance from a regular type cork grip.

Anyone have an opinion?
