Clarus for swimbaits and spinnerbaits?

Featured Replies

Is there such a monster?  I'm looking in the 7' range in a baitcaster.  I was looking at the 7' med action and fast tip.  Or would I need the med/heavy?  Thanks

I'd go with the mh..I have a m..and really wish I had bought the mh. I still use it for light swim and spinner baits.

I have a m/h fast tip Teramar, but its a spinning rod.  It feels a little to stiff, but I don't want something to flimsy either.  I new to this stuff.  The biggest swimbait I'll be fishing is the 5" money minnow.  Thanks for the help and pardon the dumb questions.

Oh man BoatCaptian, I would definitely go with a MH. I have a M before also, I found that it's a little too flimsy. You will definitely feel it on the cast and retrieves.
