Shimano Voltaeus

Featured Replies

I have two of them one spinning and one casting.  I like these rods, especially because of the price and the lifetime warranty.  I have had them for about six months now.  Who has used these rods and what do you think about them?

Haven't used them but I heard they compare to the ugly stik only lighter  in weight. Makes me want one or two for fishing for carp and catfish.  It's hard to find a durable rod that's quality built and not expensive and is still light weight.

Well I do own one and can give you a real evaluation . I bought mine to throw larger crank baits and was mildly surprised how well it did do the job for a cheaper rod.

Good for big cranks i have one it aint bad BUT maybe a point or 2 up from a ugly stik

Looking for a rod to put in the trunk of my car.  Been looking at the 5'6 two piece.  But, trying to figure out whether or not to pay the extra $10 for the convergence in 5'6 two piece.
