    That is about how I feel about them too.  Judging by how they felt in store, the rods are not stiff in the least. Not quite fiberglassy but they didn't feel like what I expected either.

    I had the reel for a while, kept 50# pp on it and used it for sloppin'.  The drag was built like a tank and I liked it alot, just not enough to keep it.  Gave it to a friend for use as a musky reel.
