All Star ASR or Falcon Bucoo

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

both of these rods are comparably priced but I havent used either.  Im looking to pick up several and either series have what Im looking for as far as length, power and action for several techniques.  My only gripe about the Bucoo is that the handles aren't made of cork, and to date my All Stars haven't let me down.  Im open to opinions and suggestions on either of these two sets of rods and I appreciate any help.  I plan to pair around 4-5 of them with some Curado E5 and E7's and see how that does.  Regards,

Jake

I personally would go with the falcon, I haven't tried out the bucoo, but have tried the lowrider and if you want the cork grips I would definitely look into spending a bit extra on a lowrider. I love mine

IMO i would stick with Allstar. Every one I have ever had has been good. They are just a flatout good rod.
