Okuma Carbon Fiber Baitcast Handle

Featured Replies

I saw on another forum that the hole size only works with Okuma reels.

At that price, I wouldnt be afraid to try and modify it.

This may sound silly but would this handle fit a daiwa reel?

Some Daiwa handles will fit onto Abu Garcia reels.

So Abu handles should fit Daiwa reels.

For an inexpensive alternative look to Mikesreelrepair.com

The sell an inexpensive Abu Garcia handle. Not sure if it will work for you or not. I do know that and Daiwa handle that fits the Steez will also fit an Abu Revo

Thanks guys!

I would like to use the Okuma handle for a Daiwa Fuego. I guess it can be modified but only if the hole in the handle is similiar in size as that of the fuego handle. If the hole is larger there is no use....

I bought a couple of these handles from Okuma, and modified them to fit on an Ambassadeur reel.I used an old handle as a template and widened out the hole with a grinding tool.I also had to adjust the length of the hole to fit the original locking plate and screw hole.I think getting them from Mike's is the easier way to go,but i was willing to try it myself.
