I should state im getting into baitcasting and fairly new (2 years) so not extremely familiar with much knowledge but now have three so my knowledge is growing...

My question is do you guys know anything about this reel at all?

I got it as a gift and tried to look up reviews and cant seem to find ANYTHING :-? Some similar reels by daiwa but not this EXACT one which is kinda wierd...

any help or reviews or comments would be greatly appreciated!

You might not be able to find much on it because it's only sold by Bass Pro.

It's a good reel. It is a BPS exclusive. Daiwa has a line of reels that use that basic frame. Among those reels is the new Daiwa Aggrest, which is at the "top end" of the line. Nevertheless, the TD Pro has more bearings than the Aggrest and some people that have used both say the TD Pro performs as well, at a lower price than the Aggrest, making it a better value. Most posts I've read suggest the TD Pro is a very good reel. From what I know, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
