I just received a used rod, and it doesn't have the rod power on it. It is an Allstar WR1 and is weighted for 1/4-1 1/4 lures. I think it might be medium heavy, but I am not really sure. Any help would be great.

Is it an older All Star?  Pre Shakespeare buyout?   I think the original All Star WR-1 is one of the finest worm/jig rods ever made.  When they first came out they were far ahead of anything else in their price range, and they were comparable to the Loomis rods of that period.  Somebody gave you a really nice rod.

I am pretty sure that it is older.  I think somewhere around 2000.  I am really excited about the rod and reel combo I got.

if not mistaken, loomis supplied the blanks for the original wr-1's.
