I was in a tackle store today and they told me that the cumara was the same blank as the GLX loomis can anyone comfirm or deny this statement.

Not true. According to Shimano, they make their own blanks.

I really doubt it. Sounds like some one trying to make a sale.

thanks for the info guys I really doubted it also but they felt really good I really like the split reel seat but I want the most sensitive rod I can get so I guess I will go with the GLX
