Falcon for finesse

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get a spinning rod for light applications such as finesse worms and maybe the occasional shaky head. I want something with a light sensitive tip but with solid back bone. I've liked the mag-light action rods I've used but would like a Falcon as I already have some Lowriders which a really like and  would like to stick with the same brand (I'm just that kind of guy). I don't think Falcon has any mag-light action rods and most light tip spinning rods don't have the backbone I want. Anyone have a suggestion for a suitable Falcon model?

i like the whole Falcon line of rods. the Original is IMO an under rated rod. i use FS-4-166 (6'6", M) for tubes, drop shot, and shaky head. its done very well for me. i also have the LFS-5-1610 (6'10" Med Hvy) Lowrider. ive not caught a fish with this rod yet but it fished very well in the store.

if i didnt already have too much gear id love to test drive a Cara T7 spinning rod but....

The Lowrider lfs-4-1610 is an awsome finesse rod.
