Suffix deep cranking line

Featured Replies

I used the serach function and came up empty.

So, has anyone had  a chance to try this line out yet, what did you think?

I used it for about 3 trips last year as deep crank line and went back to cxx.  It's very smooth and limp and has great castability but it wasn't abrasion resistant enough for where I use it.  One of the spots I fish deep cranks is around a bridge and the line gets pretty chewed up after about 4 casts and the suffix frayed and broke to easy.  I still have it on my jerkbait/shallow crank rod and it's great for that.

Thanks BigRick,

That is exactly the type info I was looking for.

Glad I asked because I crank a lot of rocks and docks, very little open water cranking probably stick with what I've been using.

Gotta have something abrasion resistance for sure.
